This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Checksy app and website.

We process account data (name, email, Google/Apple provider ID), service usage (lists and items created, dates), and technical security logs. Analytics is optional and only activated with your consent (aggregated usage events and instance/installation identifiers); you can withdraw it anytime from Settings (app) or the banner (web).

The service is provided by an individual acting as data controller; for informational purposes, the controller's identification and contact details are included in this document: I. L. Ramirez, address for notifications at C/ Lope de Vega, Las Rozas (Madrid), 28231, and info@checksyapp.com as contact channel.

Purposes and legal bases

Provide the service and manage your account (contract performance)
Security, abuse prevention, and support (legitimate interest)
Optional analytics (consent, revocable)
Email updates only if you subscribe (consent; unsubscribe in each email)

Processors and location

We use Google/Firebase as processor; infrastructure is configured in EU (Madrid, europe-southwest1). If exceptionally there are support accesses from outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards will apply (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Retention

While you maintain your account; after deletion, blocked retention of what is strictly necessary for legal obligations or defense of claims.

Rights

You can exercise access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability, and withdraw consents by writing to info@checksyapp.com. We will respond within 1 month (extendable in complex cases). You have the right to lodge a complaint with the AEPD.

Minors

Use intended for persons 14 years or older.

In the app: Settings ► Account ► Delete my account

On the web: Legal page (Delete my account section)

Changes

We will publish any relevant changes and, if they significantly affect you, we will notify you in the app or by email.
